Dutch Traditional Chinese Medicine Congress 2023
"The Cycle of Life"
nourishing health throughout the seasons

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th of November 2023 - ONLINE

Meet Our Team

Prof. Dr. Wang Weixiang - Congress President
The Dutch TCM Congress (DTCMC) aims for full-on medical integration, by supporting TCM practitioners to deepen their understanding of classical literature, and by broadening
their knowledge in traditional and modern medicine. I am so delighted to be able to
witness first hand this change and development in my 33 years as a TCM practitioner, and I’m especially proud to have been a part of the Dutch TCM education, practice and association ever since I moved to the Netherlands 19 years ago.

Dôpey Calor - Congress Director
It is truly an honor and blessing to be part of another DTCMC Congress. It can be very demanding and sometimes even daunting, to work on such a large international congress but that only makes it more gratifying in the end. What makes DTCMC truly unique is the way it brings together the global, international community of traditional medicine.
That is exactly what we must strive for. A global accessible and inclusive integrative medicine for all mankind.

Angie Calor-Man - Congress Secretary
I am proud to be part of such a talented, fun & motivated team.
Working with the speakers, the Zhong office, our DTCMC team and volunteers has been a great experience. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to meet new people, share ideas and learn new skills. It’s gratifying to know my work is contributing to the mission of the congress and I believe the Dutch TCM congress, has and will continue to promote , inform, educate & advocate to unite and integrate the TCM profession.

Mieke Maertens - Academic Advisor
Based on my 47 years of work experience in Africa, Asia and Europe, both in medical centres and universities where I was part of a scientific research team as well as in my private TCM practice, the importance of up-to-date information always has been crucial for the quality of my work. Bringing new TCM knowledge and sciences and passionate speakers from all over the world together in our DTCMC congress, can make the difference in the daily practice of the TCM practitioners. That’swhy I am member of the DTCMC team.

Ronald de Wee - Strategic Executive
This year we organize another TCM congress. To contribute to such a great event is a wonderful opportunity. It offers the possibility to enhance a skillful trade for our colleagues and other participants who have a warm heart towards TCM in a way of communicating through a congress and to meet and greet special speakers. Our trade is one of skill, diversity and with a human approach. Ingredients we, as a society, need very much in these special times. The grand thing is, we can offer it as TCM practitioners to our fellow human to make their lives more healthier and joyfully. It makes me proud and determined.

Viviane Liu - Communications Officer
I feel honoured to have this great learning opportunity again. Our team is made of great
minds with a wide variety of clinical experiences. Each of them, without knowing, have
become like a teacher, a great role-model to me inside and outside of DTCMC. They are
teaching and supporting me along the way in their own unique way. Their humble attitude,
passion and support can’t be measured. Though we all come from different backgrounds, we share a common goal. Also, it is our differences in personality and interests which make us work and blend well together – like a true team.
